Recognizing that some high impact research may not be ready to present by the general abstract submission deadline, late-breaking is available for research that meets specific criteria. This program is not designed to favor investigators who inadvertently missed the abstract submission deadline and should not be considered as an extension of the general abstract submission deadline. Abstracts submitted as late breaking will be selected based on scientific merit and impact.
Accepted late-breaking abstracts will be invited to present onsite in the e-poster area during MSMilan2023. Those that meet the criteria below will be presented in a special late-breaking session on Friday, 13 October 2023.
Late-breaking work and demos provide a unique opportunity to showcase research prototypes, demonstrate implemented and tested systems and receive helpful feedback from the community. Demonstrations should be a research in progress or summarize project results, and focus on eXplainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) theory and practice.
Submissions will be categorized into two groups – non-industry and industry – to feature up to four abstracts that will be presented orally in a short lecture. Presentations are scheduled for a total of 12 minutes with 3 minutes for questions. Accepted non-industry late-breaking and demo abstracts will be published as a supplement to the Congress Proceedings, and all others will be available on the MSMilan2023 website.
